Who we install for

Marked EV charging bays in a workplace car park

Workplace charging

Chargers for staff, visitors and company cars.

From one unit by the front door to a full car park of bays. We look at the supply you already have, work out what it will carry, and design around it so you are not paying for an upgrade you do not need. Workplace charging details.

Fleet and depot charging

Depot charging that turns vehicles round overnight.

We size the installation around your duty cycle, not a guess. How many vehicles, what mileage, what time they come back and what time they go out. Then we build the depot to match, with room to grow. Fleet and depot charging details.

Landlords and property

Charging for blocks, rentals and managed sites.

Tenants are asking for it and buyers are starting to expect it. We install charging at flats, rental property and managed sites, including the grant paperwork that brings the cost down. Landlords and property details.

Commercial unit with solar and EV charging

Solar and battery storage

Generate it, store it, put it in the car.

Solar panels and battery storage fitted alongside the charging, so the cars run on power from your own roof instead of the grid. It also keeps the lights on when the grid goes down. Solar and battery storage details.

Rolec Zura home charger fitted to a brick house

Home charging

A tidy install that suits the house.

We fit home chargers where they look right and reach the car, with the cable run planned before we start rather than worked out on the day. Home charging details.

For faster vehicle turnaround, explore rapid EV charger installation. We also provide business EV charging with billing and reporting, plus EV charger repair and servicing to keep existing installations working.

Process

How the work runs

  1. 01

    Site survey

We come out, look at the supply, measure the runs and ask what you are trying to achieve. No guessing from a postcode.

  2. 02

    Design and costs

A drawing, a specification and a fixed price. If a grant applies we tell you which one and what it is worth.

  3. 03

    Installation

Our own electricians, notified and certified. We work around your opening hours so the car park keeps working.

  4. 04

    Handover and aftercare

Commissioning, a walkthrough for whoever runs it, and a number that reaches us when something needs looking at.

Grid capacity and DNO applications

Most sites have less spare capacity than they think. We check what your supply will actually carry, and where a connection needs applying for we handle the DNO application and track it through.

Load management

Chargers share the capacity that is spare rather than each demanding full power. It is usually the difference between installing eight bays today and paying for a supply upgrade you do not need.

Phased rollout

We put in the containment and the groundwork for the bays you will want in three years, then fit the units you need now. Adding the rest later becomes a day's work instead of digging the car park up twice.

Back office and billing

Every unit meters its own sessions and speaks OCPP, so you can bill staff, reimburse drivers, separate visitor use, and pull the usage reports your finance team asks for.

Size up your site

Set the number of bays, the type of site and the charging speed. The figures update as you go.

Charger speed

How this is worked out

Bays multiplied by the output of each unit gives the total connected load. Above roughly 60kW a site normally shares that load between the bays rather than upgrading the incoming supply. Beyond about 150kW we usually apply to the network operator for more capacity. The survey is what turns these numbers into a design.

60kW is roughly where sites move to load management instead of a supply upgrade.

Remote diagnostics

We can see the unit, read the fault and reset it without a visit. Most problems are sorted the same day you report them.

Engineers on the road

Maintenance cover

Planned servicing and agreed response times for sites where a dead bay costs money. Priced per site, not per socket.

Compliance as it changes

Wiring regulations and accessibility standards move. We tell you when something affects your installation instead of leaving you to find out.

Questions

Common questions

A handful of bays is usually a day or two on site. A larger car park or a depot depends on the supply and any groundwork, and we give you the programme with the quote so you can plan around it.

That is what the survey answers. Often it will, once we add load management so the chargers share what is spare. Where it genuinely will not, we tell you what an upgrade costs before you commit.

Businesses can usually claim through the Workplace Charging Scheme, and landlords through the EV Chargepoint Grant for rented and shared property. We confirm what you qualify for and handle the paperwork.

Yes. The units we fit meter each session and work with the main billing platforms, so you can charge users, keep it free as a perk, or set different rates for staff and visitors.

Call us. Most faults are diagnosed remotely and cleared the same day. If someone needs to come out, they do, and we hold maintenance cover for sites that cannot afford downtime.

We work across Surrey, West Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, East Sussex and Berkshire. Cobham is home, so most of the South East is a straightforward journey.
